2013: Feb. 9: Krewe of Dionysos 2013 theme 'Mardi Gras on 'da Bayou'
For the Krewe of Waguns & Childrens' parade, the sky during the morning was overcast with an E & SE wind prevailing. The sky became mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sunshine especially about 1:40 p.m. CST. At 2:00 p.m. CST, the parade began to roll in thedowntown area under an overcast sky. The temperature was 61°, barometeric pressure= 30.08" and falling.No rainfall was observed for this parade.

2012: Feb. 13: Due to heavy rain and rain most of the day in Natchitoches the Krewe of Dionysos was CANCELLED and was not rescheduled. The rain ended about 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. It was cloudy and damp at 5:30 p.m. non-parade time. A rainy day observed especially in the morning hours. The Krewe of Waguns would be re-scheduled and rolled on Sunday February 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with a partly cloudy sky prevailing and cool temperatures; Former Natchitoches Mayor Wayne McCullen was in attendance for this parade.
2011: Saturday, March 5: Overcast sky at parade time, cool temperatures observed. The high temperature for March 5, 2011 was recorded as 66 °F.
2010: Feb. 13: The parade began at 5:30 p.m. with a clear sky observed at parade time. The theme was "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves", and the Grand Marshal for the parade was former Natchitoches Mayor Joe Sampite. Interesting enough at 8:00 a.m. today, the NWS official ground snow depth was recorded as two (2) inches left on the snowboard from a previous day six (6) inch snowstorm. Morning fog was observed. It was foggy at 8:00 a.m. The high temperature for Feb. 13, 2010 was recorded as 51°. Parade goers wore coats as temperatures in the upper to mid 40's were observed during the parade.
2009: Feb. 21: Cold, chilly weather; afternoon rain downpour; no rain observed at parade time for parade goers that was held on Feb. 21st. Light rain was observed for the 2009 Krewe of Waguns parade that year. Very cold, damp chilly weather for these parade events. The high temperature during Feb. 21, 2009 was recorded as 67°. A very strong cold front moved in mid day dropping the temperature significantly for a cold, chilly rainy afternoon.
2008: Feb 02: Frost observed at 7:00 a.m.; the sky was partly cloudy to mostly overcast during the morning. A cold front passage occurred on Feb. 2. A squall line was observed at 9:37 a.m. with movement E-SE. Afternoon temperatures were observed in the mid 60's; At 5:30 p.m. or parade time, it was 66.8° with a mostly overcast sky observed. The high temperature for Feb. 2, 2008 was recorded as 74°.
2007: Feb. 17: Krewe of Dionysos parade was held Feb. 17, 2007; the organizer was Dennis Bryant; A clear sky weather day observed with a cold front passage during the day. A breezy (30-35 m.p.h. NW wind prevailed during the day; It was 54° at 5:00 p.m. and at 6 p.m. (a NW 15 mph observed). The high temperature for Feb. 17, 2007 was recorded as 62° with no precipitation recorded.
2006: Mar. 3: Krewe of Dionysus Mardi Gras Parade rolled thru Natchitoches' Landmark Historic District and East Natchitoches. 5:30 p.m.; at 7:00 p.m., it was 69° with a mostly clear sky; no precipitation at parade time; a NE wind prevailed that day. The high temperature for Mar. 3, 2006 was recorded as 70° with no precipitation recorded.
2005: Feb. 5: The Krewe of Dionysos of Natchitoches, Louisiana, held their annual Mardi Gras Parade on the evening of February 5, 2005; a mostly cloudy to cloudy day was observed; it was 60° at 4:00 p.m.; the sky was mostly cloudy at parade time with no precipitation recorded; temperatures were in the upper 50's during parade time. The high temperature for Feb. 5, 2005 was recorded as 63° with no precipitation recorded.
2004: The Krewe of Dionysos held its annual parade on Saturday, February 21, 2004 beginning at 5:30 p.m.; A clear morning sky with high clouds (cirrus) by 2:00 p.m.; it was a partly cloudy sky observed at parade time with temperatures in the 60s. The high temperature for Feb. 21, 2004 was recorded as 69° with no precipitation recorded.
2003: March 01: Krewe of Dionysos parade held; an overcast morning observed becoming mostly cloudy by 3 pm with some sunshine. At 6:00 p.m. it was 48° with a mostly cloudy sky observed at parade time with a N-NE wind prevailing near 5 m.p.h. No precipitation recorded.
2002: Feb 09: Krewe of Dionysos parade held. A dense morning fog observed at 7:00 a.m.; a cold front passage occurred about 9:00 p.m. that evening; a partly cloudy afternoon with 69° at 4:30 p.m.; temperatures lowered to mid 60's at parade time with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky. Light rain showers observed by 8 p.m. that evening.
2001: Feb 24: Krewe of Dionysos parade held; the sky was pt. sunny to cloudy; gusty winds with a rain shower observed at 3:41 p.m.; there were tornado watches issued for most of north Louisiana that day.

Dec. 8, 2012 - Krewe of Dionysos entered a float for the first time in the 86th Annual Natchitoches Christmas parade.
2012- The theme was "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans." King Dionysos Johnny Muckleroy, Queen Dionysos Brenda Poynter and Captain Dionysos Jerry McElwee. A parade was not held this year.
2011 - The theme was "Casino Royale." ; King Dionysos XIII Wayne Frame hosted the king's supper Feb. 5 at the home of Ronnie and Duchess of Decadence Karen Poche'.
