This morning's official National Weather Service low temperature at Natchitoches, La. was 47.0°F. Yesterday's high was recorded as 73.3°F. April 12, 2013 -- A beautiful blue clear sky morning was observed today with light morning wind. Good visibility was observed. At 8:00 AM CDT, the sky was clear, temperature 47.0°F, barometer was 29.98" and the wind was calm. Yesterday afternoon the temperature reached 59.8°F for the official NWS high temperature at Natchitoches, Louisiana. The low this morning, Apr. 12th, was 42.0° Past 24-hour precipitation ending at 8:00 AM CDT was 0.19" from light rain shower during the morning hours of April 11th. At 10:00 AM CDT today, the sky was clear, temperature 56.6°F, barometeric pressure (altimeter): 30.02 in. Hg (1016 hPa) and wind was calm. April 11, 2013 -- Heavy rainfall occurred from 9 PM-11:59 PM on April 10, 2013 with periods of rain showers and thunderstorms some having heavy rainfall amounts at Natchitoches, Louisiana during April 10-11, 2013. A strong cold front passage occurred at 7:15 PM CDT on Apr. 10 dropping the temperature 34.9 degrees during the evening from the official NWS high of 81°F (occurring the afternoon of Apr. 10) to 46.1°F observed at 11:59 PM CDT on Apr. 10th.
Thunderstorms with frequent lightning was observed during the 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM CDT hours of Apr. 10. Rain continued into the morning hours of April 11, 2013. At 8:00 AM CDT on Apr. 11, rain was observed, temperature was an official NWS reading of 43.2°F, barometer 29.86" and wind NW at 10 MPH for the City of Natchitoches, La.
At 10:00 AM CDT on April 11, 2013 at Natchitoches, La. the temperature was a chilly 42.4° with light rain observed. The wind was from the N (350 degrees) at 10 MPH (9 KT) and the pressure (altimeter) was 29.87 in. Hg (1011 hPa). April 11, 2013 -- Heavy rainfall occurred from 9 PM-11:59 PM with periods of rain showers and thunderstorms some having heavy rainfall amounts at Natchitoches, Louisiana during April 10-11, 2013. A strong cold front passage occurred at 7:15 PM CDT on Apr. 10 dropping the temperature 34.9 degrees during the evening from the official NWS high of 81°F (occurring the afternoon of Apr. 10) to 46.1°F observed at 11:59 PM CDT on Apr. 10th.
Thunderstorms with frequent lightning was observed during the 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM CDT hours of Apr. 10. Rain continued into the morning hours of April 11, 2013. At 8:00 AM CDT on Apr. 11, rain was observed and the temperature was an official NWS reading of 43.2°F at Natchitoches, La.

April 10, 2013 --- Overcast sky and humid conditions prevailed at Natchitoches, La. this morning. At 7:15 AM CDT, it was overcast, 72°F and the dewpoint temperature was 67.3° F (19.6° C) in the City. So a very humid morning was observed. For the past 24-hour period ending at 8:00 AM CDT today, the official NWS low temperature for Natchitoches was 69°F and the high was 83.3°F. A strong cold front was located just SE of Dallas, Texas during the 9:00 AM CDT hour.. Dallas, TX temperature: 42.1°F at 8:53 AM CDT and at Natchitoches Weather Climate Louisiana 73°F at 9:16 AM CDT. At 10:40 AM CDT, at light drizzle was observed and it was 73°F. AT 11:59 AM CDT, the sky was overcast; 73.8°F; 29.85 in. Hg; Wind SE at 8 MPH. Very little sunshine was observed during the noon hour. A cloudy to mostly cloudy sky prevailed during the afternoon. At 4:58 PM CDT, a strong cold front had arrived at Shreveport with the wind from the NW (310 degrees) at 12 MPH (10 KT) gusting to 24 MPH (21 KT and the temperature was 50.0 F (10.0 C), while at Natchitoches it was 79.9°F with an overcast sky.
