Natchitoches, La. July 2012 Moderate Drought Status Returns...

The U. S. Drought Monitor has indicated in its report made on July 3, 2012 that D-1 stage intensity moderate drought conditions have returned to Natchitoches Parish and the City, excluding the far southern sections of the parish which is in a D-0 abnormally dry intensity status.  More benefical rains have fallen in past weeks over the southern sections of the parish.
