WEATHER SUMMARY FOR DEC. 6-8, 2013

December 6-8, 2013 ---- The weather last several days since an Arctic cold front passage has been overcast, periods of rain and chilly or cold weather.  On December 7, 2013, at Natchitoches, La., light snowfall occurred during the early morning hours and was observed at 12:34, 1:38 and 1:45 AM CST. Only a trace amount was recorded and the snow showers were intermitten.  The wind chill on Dec. 7 during the 6 AM - 8 AM hours fell to the teens (17-19 degrees at 8 AM) making for a very cold 87th Natchitoches Christmas Festival day.  During Dec.
7, 2013, the sky remained overcast for late afternoon and evening with an E/NE wind prevailing causing a chill to the air. On Dec. 8, 2013, no precipitation occurred during the morning, but the sky was overcast and cold temperatures prevailed in the 30s at Natchitoches, La.
