February 26, 2013 ---  Overcast sky, chilly, windy (west wind gusting 30-40 mph) observed. Official Natchitoches, La. National Weather Service rainfall data for the past 24-hr. period ending at 8 a.m. CST, Feb 26, 2013 is recorded as 1.05 inches.  In addition, the official high temperature is recorded as 68° for the past 24-hour period ending at 8 a.m., Feb. 26. The NWS low temp. this morning for the City of Natchitoches for the past 24-hr. period ending at 8 a.m. CST on Feb. 26 is 44°.  With a gusty 25-30 mph west wind the "feel like" temperature at that time was near 36° with the 8 a.m. temperature of 43.8°.


February 25, 2013  ---- Thunderstorm with heavy rainfall observed at 2:50 PM mov NE; It was a mostly cloudy to partly sunny afternoon after 3:30 p.m.  A clear sky during the 5 p.m. hour observed. Cold front observed late evening along with a gusty (25-35 mph) west wind.
