February 06, 2014  Snowfall Event At Natchitoches, Louisiana

On Feb. 6, 2014, a trace amount of snowfall occurred during the 10 AM - 11:00 AM CST hours.  The snow melted quickly upon impact with the ground.



Feb 6, 2014 --- Ice pellets observed in Natchitoches and snow flurries to moderate snowfall fell during the 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM CST hours with a trace snow depth accumulating on the snow board by 11:10 AM today in the Natchitoches downtown area.
Moderate snowfall observed at 10:38 AM CST and at 10:50 AM CST.   Most of the  snowfall melted upon impact.
The sky remained mostly cloudy to overcast during the day with chilly temperatures prevailing.
