Feb. 13, 2014 ----  Heavy ground frost with a partly sunny (cirrus clouds) sky observed.  Low temperature today was 24.5 or 25 degrees being in the official National Weather Service low.  The afternoon sky saw some cirrus or high clouds pass over towards the SE. The evening sky was clear or mostly clear with some high cirrus clouds above at times.  No precipitation was observed today.

Feb. 12, 2014 --- Winter precipitation event at Natchitoches; overcast sky all day; periods of freezing mist, drizzle, and rain.  Temperature reaches 34 degrees during the 3:00 PM hour today.

Feb. 11, 2014 --- Overcast sky and cold temperatures prevail.
