June 14, 2013 ---- The sky was mostly clear this morning.  There were a few passing clouds during the morning hours.  The official high temperature yesterday was 93 degrees for the City of Natchitoches, La.  This morning's low temperature for the city was 76.2 degrees.   At 10:00  AM CDT, the temperature was 85.6 degrees, mostly clear sky (some haze), wind was from the NW (310 degrees) at 6 MPH (5 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 29.96 in. Hg (1014 hPa).   At 11:00 AM CDT, the temperature was86.9 degrees or 87 degrees, mostly clear, some haze and few clouds observed, wind NW 6 mph and barometer at 29.97" Hg.   An afternoon cold front passage occurred which moved from NE to SW across the area bringing slightly less humid air mass.  The front caused the wind to blow from the NE & E.  The afternoon sky was partly cloudy.  The official NWS high temperature for Natchitoches reached 91.1 degrees.  No rainfall was recorded today.  The evening sky was mostly clear, with some high thin clouds observed.  At 8:00 PM, the temperature was 84.3 degrees and a mostly clear sky observed.
