May 1, 2013 -- Cloudy skies prevailed this morning as a low pressure system spinnned over central Louisiana.  At 8:00 AM CDT, the sky was cloudy, temperature at 64.2°F, wind was calm.   The official National Weather Service high temperature for the City of Natchitoches during the past 24-hour period was 75.2°F and precipitation amounted to 0.01".  The low temperature this morning was recorded as 62.1°F.  At 12:00 PM CDT, the temperature was 70.9°F, cloudy sky, wind was from the N (360 degrees) at 6 MPH (5 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter) was 29.90 in. Hg (1012 hPa).
Rain showers occurred during the afternoon today at Natchitoches.  A rain shower was observed at 3:14 PM CDT and it's movement was SE direction.  Skies were cloudy at 4:00 PM CDT, the temperature was 73.3°F.  Skies were partly cloudy to mostly cloudy during the evening hours.  At 9 PM CDT, the temperature was 66.8°F, the sky was partly cloudy, wind was from the E (090 degrees) at 6 MPH (5 KT) and the barometer pressure (altimeter) was at 29.89 in.
