May 9, 2013, 10:00 AM CDT --- Louisiana Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne was in Natchitoches, La. today to speak to an outdoor crowd gathering at Washington and Lafayette Streets for Tourism Day in downtown Natchitoches, La. at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. The speech was held at 10:00 AM CDT amid an overcast sky and a temperature near 73°F. The dewpoint temperature value was near 66°F and the relative humidity value in the 78-93% range when this photo was made by me. At 10:26 AM CDT today, the official National Weather Service temperature at Natchitoches was 72.8°F.   The sky was cloudy during the afternoon & evening hours, with periods of light rain showers during the afternoon.
Periods of thunderstorms, some having heavy rainfall & frequent lightning, developed between the hours of 9 PM CDT and 11:59 PM CDT.  The official National Weather Service high temperature this afternoon was 77.3°F.
