May 4, 2013 ---- A clear morning sky prevailed this morning amid very chilly temperatures at Natchitoches, La. today. The official National Weather Service low temperature for the City was 40.2° (no frost observed). Yesterday's high temperature only made it to a very cool for this time of year at 60.6° as a cold front sliced north to south thru the State of Mississippi during the day. At 8:00 AM CDT today, the temperature was 47.7°F, clear sky observed, wind was from the SW (220 degrees) at 3 MPH (3 KT) and the barometeric pressure (altimeter) was 30.00 in. Hg (1015 hPa). At 9:00 AM CDT, the sky was clear, temperature was 56.6°F, the wind was from the WSW (240 degrees) at 7 MPH (6 KT) and the barometeric pressure (altimeter) was steady at 30.00 in. Hg (1015 hPa). At 11:00 AM CDT, the temperature was 63.8°F, clear sky, wind was from the W (270 degrees) at 13 MPH (11 KT) gusting to 16 MPH (14 KT) and the barometeric pressure (altimeter) was 29.98 in. Hg (1015 hPa).
