Natchitoches Weather Summary For March 10, 2013

(March 10, 2013) ---- An overcast sky with morning rain. The temperature at 8:00 a.m. today was 63°.  A band of heavy to moderate rain was noted on NWS radar approaching Natchitoches Parish from the NW at 9:18 a.m. CST and at that time was located over Bienville,  approaching Coushatta, La (Red River Parish) and stretching on down to NW Sabine Parish and Toledo Bend Reservior.

(March 9, 2013) --- An overcast sky prevail during the morning and afternoon, with occasional periods of light rain showers observed. A mostly cloudy sky at 6:30 p.m. CST with some decrease in cloudinness during the 7 p.m. hour to be mostly clear. For Natchitoches, the official NWS high temperature reached 67.8° or 68° and with a trace amount of rainfall recorded. A breezy ESE, SE, S wind prevailed for today at near 20-27 mph.
