(March 21, 2013) --- A mostly cloudy to cloudy sky early morning hours observed. The sky remained cloudy to mostly cloudy for the morning. It was mostly cloudy with some sunshine observed at 11:43 AM CDT. The official NWS low temperature for Natchitoches this morning was 45.0°.
Wind: An NE, E, & SE wind prevailed during the morning hours increasing in speed as the morning progressed. At 11:35 AM CDT, the wind was from the ESE (120 degrees) at 10 MPH (9 KT). It gusted during the morning as high as 13-16 mph. At 9:35 AM, the wind was E at 13 mph. A rain shower occurred at 1:14 PM CDT and tracked NE.
The official NWS high today for Natchitoches, La. was 63 degrees with a trace amount of rainfall recorded.
