Windy, Breezy Days for Mon,  March 4 and  Tues., March 5, 2013...

March 5, 2013  ---- A breezy windy day with light rain at 7:18 a.m. CST moving SE.  A strong cold front passed through at 7:22 a.m. CST with the wind becoming gusty NW.  It was windy at 7:55 a.m. CST with the wind from the NW (320 degrees) at 28 MPH (24 KT) gusting to 36 MPH (31 KT).   Skies cleared during the morning.  NW wind gusts prevailed during the day after 7:22 a.m. blowing at 36-40 m.p.h.  The high for March 5 was 62.9°.

Yesterday's (March 4) NWS offical high for Natchitoches was recorded as 73.8°.  It was windy with a breeze from S,SW gusting to 30-35 m.p.h.  Increasing cloudiness during the afternoon.  No rainfall occurred on March 4.  On  March 5 at 8:00 a.m. CST, the temperature was 55.4° at 7:57 a.m. CST. A trace amount of rainfall is recorded officially for the NWS for the 24-hr period ending at 8 a.m. to...day for the City.
