July 15, 2013 --  The morning sky was partly cloudy.  Skies were cloudy to mostly cloudy during the afternoon as periods of rain shower and thunderstorms moved in from the SE direction.  The thunderstorm during the 3:00 PM CDT hour tracked NW.   The wind prevailed today from the E and SE direction but shifted at times to blow from the SW due to vicinity thunderstorms.  The evening sky was mostly cloudy.  At 9:45 PM CDT, the was partly cloudy with the moon and some stars visible at Natchitoches, La.   Distant lightning to the NW was observed during the 9:00 PM CDT hour.  Here's the official Natchitoches weather data for today from the National Weather Service:
