July 23-24, 2013 --- For these two days, the morning sky was cloudy to mostly cloudy.  A SW morning wind prevailed.  No rainfall was recorded for July 23.  For July 24, a thunderstorm occurred during the 4 PM CDT hours (4:26 PM) and light rain was still observed as of 5:50 PM CDT at Natchitoches.  Considerable high cloudiness (thunderstorms over north Texas)  held the temperature down on July 24th.  Afternoon thunderstorms maintained a cloudy sky evening.  It was an overcast sky observed at 9:00 PM CDT with a calm wind.  Here's the official weather data from the National Weather Service for the City of Natchitoches, Louisiana.
