July 11, 2013 --- Overcast sky was observed during the 7:00 AM CDT hour.  Periods of rain occurred today along with a mix of clouds and some sunshine.  Rain occurred at 8:12 PM CDT,  during the 12 PM CDT hour and at 2:23 PM CDT.  During the afternoon, after 3:00 PM CDT, the sky became partly sunny.  The 7:00 PM CDT hour was overcast from thunderstorms located over Jackson Parish, La.  Thunder and frequent distant lightning was observed during the 8 PM - 10 PM hours to NE, then ENE and NW sky.  Thunder was observed at Natchitoches during the 9 PM CDT hour.  Rain occurred at Natchitoches during the 11 PM CDT hour.  Rain was observed at 11:16 PM CDT.  Here are the official temperature and rainfall data from the National Weather Service (not TV station unofficial weather watcher reports) for the City of Natchitoches, La.:
