September 21, 2013 --- It was a cloudy morning at Natchitoches with light rain and/or drizzle before 8 AM CDT this morning.   Rainfall for the past 24-hour period ending at 8:00 AM CDT today amounted to 2.47 inches.  A cold front moved through the City of Natchitoches, La. during the evening hours of  Friday, Sept. 20th. causing heavy rainfall during the 7:00 PM CDT hour, especially at 7:03 PM CDT and 7:27 PM CDT.  Yesterday's official NWS highest temperature at Natchitoches, La. was 79.8 degrees.  Temperatures were cooler this morning as an overcast sky and humid conditions prevailed.  The low temperature this morning was 67.9 degrees.   At 8:00 AM CDT, the sky was cloudy and the temperature reading was 68.1 degrees.  At 9:00 AM CDT, the wind was from the N (010 degrees) at 12 MPH (10 KT),  barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 29.85 in. Hg (1010 hPa) and temperature at 68.2 degrees.  At 10:49 AM CDT, light drizzle was observed at Natchitoches.  At 11:00 AM CDT, the official temperature was 69.0 degrees, overcast sky, wind was from the NNE (020 degrees) at 9 MPH (8 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 29.87 in. Hg (1011 hPa).  Partial clearning of the clouds began during the afternoon.  At 3:00 PM CDT, the sky was mostly cloudy, temperature at 75.7 degrees, wind from the NE (050 degrees) at 10 MPH (9 KT) gusting to 17 MPH (15 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter): 29.83 in.
