September 8, 2013 --- A clear morning sky prevailed until the 10 AM CDT hour when skies became partly sunny.  It was a partly sunny sky for mid-morning, afternoon and early evening with no rainfall observed at Natchitoches.  High pressure aloft was found centered over Kansas today providing hot temperatures and dry weather here.  The evening hours had a near calm to calm wind prevailing.
