August 10, 2013 ----  A clear morning sky prevailed today at Natchitoches.  At 7 AM CDT, the sky was clear and the wind was calm.  At 8:00 AM CDT, the wind was SE at 2 MPH, sky was clear and the temperature was 77.5 degrees.   At 8:15 AM CDT, the sky was clear, wind from the SSE (150 degrees) at 8 MPH (7 KT) and the barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 30.04 in. Hg (1017 hPa).  At 9:00 AM CDT, the sky was clear, temperature at 80.9 F degrees, barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 30.06 in. Hg (1017 hPa) and wind was from the SSE (150 degrees) at 3 MPH (3 KT).  The afternoon was partly cloudy.  During the 4 PM hour, rain showers tried to move in from the southeast direction, but they weakened and no rainfall was recorded officially at Natchitoches today.  The evening was partly cloudy, with a southerly and southwesterly wind observed.  At 9 PM CDT, the sky was partly cloudy, temperature 81 degrees,  wind was from the S (180 degrees) at 3 MPH (3 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 30.03 in.
