High pressure this morning was centered between San Antonio and Galveston, TX providing a hot, dry day for Natchitoches, Louisiana. The sky was clear or mostly clear today and no rainfall was recorded. At 8 AM CDT, the wind was southerly at 3 mph, sky clear and barometer at 29.93 inches. At 12 PM CDT, this sky was clear, wind was SW at 7 mph and barometer at 29.96 inches. At 6 PM CDT, the sky was clear, barometer at 29.85 inches and wind was SE at 3 mph. The wind prevailed today from the S, SE and/or SW at light speeds of no higher than 15 mph. The temperature at 8 PM CDT was 88.9 degrees, clear sky observed, wind was calm and the barometeric pressure (altimeter) at 29.84 in. Hg (1010 hPa).
