Heavy Precipitation Event For April 10-11, 2013 At Natchitoches, Louisiana;  3.37 inches of rainfall observed at Natchitoches, La.

April 11, 2013 -- Heavy rainfall occurred from 9 PM-11:59 PM with periods of rain showers and thunderstorms some having heavy rainfall amounts at Natchitoches, Louisiana during April 10-11, 2013.  A strong cold front passage occurred at 7:15 PM CDT on Apr. 10 dropping the temperature 34.9 degrees during the evening from the official NWS high of 81°F (occurring the afternoon of Apr. 10)  to  46.1°F observed at 11:59 PM CDT on Apr. 10th.
Thunderstorms with frequent lightning was observed during the 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM CDT hours of Apr. 10.  Rain continued into the morning hours of April 11, 2013.  At 8:00 AM CDT on Apr. 11, rain was observed and the temperature was an official NWS reading of 43.2°F at Natchitoches, La.
