April 24, 2012 --- A cloudy, rainy morning was obseved as a cold front moved thru.  At 1:15 AM CDT, the temperature was 70°F, sky cloudy and the wind was calm.  A thunderstorm developed during the 4 AM CDT hour and tracked eastward.  The rain showers moved eastward.  At 7:00 AM CDT, the sky was cloudy and the wind was N 10 G 22 mph.  Temperatures fell considerably after frontal passage, and by 8:00 AM CDT today, the temperature was 45.6°F, a cloudy sky observed, wind NW 12 G 20 mph and the barometer was 30.16".  Yesterday's official National Weather Service high temperature for Natchitoches, La. was recorded as 82.3°F.  Official rainfall for the past 24-hour period ending at 8:00 AM CDT today was 0.63 inches.  Rainfall ended today by 9:00 AM CDT and a cloudy sky prevailed during the late morning hours.  About 1:00 PM CDT, skies became less cloudy and were mostly cloudy at that time.  By 3:00 PM CDT, skies were partly cloudy, temperature 61.5°, wind was from the NE (050 degrees) at 7 MPH (6 KT) and barometeric pressure (altimeter): 30.19 in. Hg (1022 hPa).  Afternoon relative humidity values were less today.  The wind prevailed from the N and NE today.
