April 7, 2013 ---  The day began with cloudy skies...The sky was cloudy during the 7 AM CDT hour with a calm wind observed.  A cloudy morning was observed.  Clouds thinned during the 10:00 AM CDT hour from being cloudy to mostly cloudy.  It was a partly sunny afternoon observed at Natchitoches, Louisiana today with the wind prevailing from the S or SE.  No precipitation occurred. At 8:00 AM CDT, the temperature was 56°F, wind was S 3 mph and the barometeric pressure was 30.05".  At 3:42 PM CDT, the temperatrue  was 73.4°, a partly sunny sky observed and the wind was from the SSE (160 degrees) at 14 MPH (12 KT) gusting to 17 MPH (15 KT).  At 3:59 PM CDT, the temperature was 75.3° and the wind was from the S (180 degrees) at 12 MPH (10 KT).
