April 12, 2013 -- A beautiful blue clear sky morning was observed today with light morning wind.  Good visibility was observed.   At 8:00 AM CDT, the sky was clear, temperature 47.0°F, barometer was 29.98" and the wind was calm.  Yesterday afternoon the temperature reached 59.8°F for the official NWS high temperature at Natchitoches, Louisiana. The low this morning, Apr. 12th, was 42.0°  Past 24-hour precipitation ending at 8:00 AM CDT was 0.19" from light rain shower during the morning hours of April 11th.  At 10:00 AM CDT today, the sky was clear, temperature 56.6°F, barometeric pressure (altimeter): 30.02 in. Hg (1016 hPa) and wind was calm. The temperature at 2:00 PM CDT was 68.3°F, clear sky, wind from the N (360 degrees) at 6 MPH (5 KT)  and pressure (altimeter): 29.99 in. Hg (1015 hPa).  At 4:00 PM  CDT, the sky at Natchitoches was clear, the temperature 71.4°F, Wind: from the N (010 degrees) at 3 MPH (3 KT) and the pressure (altimeter): 29.94 in. Hg (1013 hPa).
After 1:00 PM CDT, a few high clouds were noted to the far SE & ESE sky...with more high clouds during late evening hours of Apr. 12th.  At 6:00 PM, the sky was clear.  At 7:00 PM CDT, the temperature was 72°, mostly clear, barometer was 29.91" & steady.  The dewpoint was 44° and the humidity was 36% making for a nice early evening. At 9:00 PM CDT, the temperature was 62°, barometer 29.94 and the dewpoint was 47°.
